TechXter 3.0

Navi Mumbai: TechXter 3.0, A National Level Technical Paper Presentation Competition was held at SIES Graduate School of Technology on 1st February, 2014 which saw over 30 teams from across India presenting papers on the theme 'Science in empowering the society'. The inauguration function which was held in the GST auditorium welcomed our esteemed guest, Mr. R.K. Giridhar who lit the lamp along with our Dean Prof. Tagalpallevar and our IT HOD Prof. Leena Ladge. The event was organized by the members of the IETE student forum who shed their sweat and blood in organizing this event.

After the inauguration all the guests proceeded for breakfast and the event began. The event was held at three separate locations. All the three locations accommodated participants from separate fields of Computer and Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Biotechnology, Mechanical and Printing and Packaging.

Each presentation hall saw about 12 teams which took place in two sessions. The results of the hard work put in by the participants could be seen through their dedicated efforts in their presentations. Many interesting projects and ideas were put forward which might have put our respected judges in dilemma. The end of the first session was followed by the lunch. After lunch, the second session continued with a heightened enthusiasm in the students. 

After the event, the valedictory function celebrated the prize winners. The event ended with a speech by Prof. Leena Ladge who was extremely happy with the success of the event which was an outcome of semester long efforts by the IETE student members and beloved faculty. Feedbacks were gathered from the participants who were excited and overwhelmed by the organization and hospitality of the TechXter team.

The TechXter team consisted of students from the second, third and fourth years who gelled up so well to produce such an outcome as this. From the sponsorship team, publicity team, designing team, event heads and coordinators all with their combined efforts brought this event at a high pedestal. Altogether, TechXter 3.0 was marked as another huge success for IETE following the previous editions.
